Initially employed as a technician, by mid-2017, just before reaching the two-year anniversary with Volks Centre, Nadim was offered a career change and Tobias transitioned Nadim into a management role as the Service and Workshop Advisor for the Cairns location.
In this new position, Nadim took on the responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring that customers consistently received the highest level of service and liaising with the technicians to also make sure diagnoses and workmanship was completed to the highest of standards.
Having been raised in a family-run business, Nadim learned valuable lessons about the dedication, hard work, and commitment it takes to run a successful operation. Growing up in this environment instilled a deep appreciation for the effort required to not only maintain but grow a business over time, and with morals. Nadim treated Tobias and Lisa’s business like it was his own and respected their hard work and the reputation Volks Centre Cairns had built over the years.
In the first half of 2025, Nadim was approached by Tobias Schneck and Lisa Essig with an offer to purchase Volks Centre Cairns and Volks Centre Smithfield. Having been part of the Volks Centre team for nearly a decade, Nadim had seen firsthand the passion and hard work Tobias and Lisa poured into the business, and their dedication over the years fuelled his own forever growing passion for the industry.
With 19 years of successful growth and a strong reputation already confirmed in the Cairns and Smithfield region, Nadim knew this was an opportunity to be seized. Gladly accepting their offer, excited to take the reins and continue building on the solid foundation they had established.

Tobias and Lisa’s decision to hand over the reins of Volks Centre to Nadim was always taken seriously and never taken lightly. When Nadim accepted the proposal to purchase the two branches, Nadim made a promise to himself, the staff and the clients to continue growing the business with the same dedication and passion that Tobias and Lisa instilled over the past 19 years.
We are truly honoured to carry forward the legacy they built in producing the best service for German Automotive in our region. The responsibility of upholding their hard work, commitment, and the trust they earned from their loyal customers is something Nadim, as the new business director, hold very close. Nadim would like to personally thank Tobias and Lisa for their invaluable mentorship and for always prioritising the needs of the business, their team, and their customers. Their unwavering dedication has left a lasting impact, and their influence will continue to guide us as a team.

When a manufacturer releases a new vehicle, it’s usually a worldwide release meaning the car needs to be able to survive in areas that have extreme climates and poor-quality fuels and other additives. Most manufacturers dial back a car's engine to a very conservative level.
